In conjunction, to join with other municipalities <br />in paying for legal counsel. Estimated attomey costs for the first phase would be $15,000. If further <br />legal action were required, additional fees would be expected. If Council wished to join these efforts, <br />$3,000 was requested. <br /> <br />Tom L. Jones, 922 Arapahoe Court, Louisville, Colorado, commended Council on the resolution they <br />had previously passed on this issue and encouraged Council to continue on with this phase. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that he had been in contact with the Mayor of Boulder and she would be addressing <br />this issue at their Council meeting tonight. If Boulder joined in, the actual cash contribution might <br />be less. <br /> <br />Mayer was in favor of this resolution. <br /> <br />Keany had not heard an outpouring of public sentiment against this, so he would vote against it. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council authorize an expenditure of up to $3,000 for legal expenses relating to <br />opposition to the expansion of scheduled commercial service to Jeffco Airport.
