Trustee Informational Comments on Pertinent Items Not on the Agenda Sherri reported that she had attended the Library Foundation board meeting in November. She noted that fundraising letters for the annual utility bill mailing went out in November. The Library Foundation is also investigating a way to include solicitation in electronic mailings, as Superior does. The Foundation is also investigating more options for fundraising for the Library's new Makerspace. Jeannie noted that the Board may want to consider partnering with the Foundation to raise funds or solicit material donations. Jeannie also mentioned the OhOhTwoSeven social media site for fundraising solicitations. To that end, she will attend the Foundation's upcoming subcommittee meeting for the Makerspace project. Hank provided an update on current City Council activities, and Debra Williams provided an update on Town of Superior government activities. She summarized an extensive discussion at a recent retreat about indoor space in Town Square that includes a flex space for community rooms and a digital library to complement the contract for library services with Louisville. VIII. New Business A. Designate: 1) 2015 Locations to Post Notices of Public Meetings IX. The City Manager's Office provided an approved list of locations to post notices, in accordance with the City's Home Rule Charter. The Board unanimously agreed to continue to post meeting notices as follows: • The Louisville City Hall lobby (749 Main Street) • The Louisville Public Library public bulletin board (951 Spruce Street) • The Louisville Recreation Et Senior Center (900 West Via Appia) • The Louisville Police Department Et Municipal Court Building (992 Via Appia) • The City of Louisville Website 2) 2015 Schedule of Board Meetings The Board's bi- monthly meeting schedule will remain the second Thursday of odd - numbered months, as follows: • January 8 • March 12 • May 14 • July 9 • September 10 • November 12 A. Distribute: 1) 2015 Open Government & Ethics Pamphlet The 2015 pamphlet was distributed to every Board member.
