Golf Course Advisory Board Minutes <br />February 9 2015 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />Parks and Recreation Department · 749 Main Street · Louisville, CO 80027 <br />(303) 335-4735 · FAX (303) 335-4738 <br />www.louisvilleco.gov <br />Parks Recreation Senior Services Open Space Forestry Trails Golf <br />Golf Course Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />02-09-2015 <br />Spruce Room, City Hall <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order – Ken Gambon called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Ken Gambon, Lisa Norgard, Cory Nickerson, Perry <br />Nelson, Dennis Maloney and Sandy Stewart <br />Board Members Absent: Heikke Neilsen <br />Council Members Present: Jay Keany <br />Staff Members Present: Joe Stevens and David Dean <br />Public: Brian Harris, Jon Meng, Don Johnson, Chris Browne and John Clark. <br />3.Approval of Agenda – The agenda was unanimously approved. Sandy Stewart <br />proposed, Lisa Norgard seconded. <br />4.Approval of Meeting Minutes – The January 11 Minutes were unanimously <br />approved. Dennis Maloney proposed, Lisa Norgard seconded. <br />5.Public comments: Members of the Men’s Club present talked about the dilemma <br />they face due to uncertainty in the opening date and any initial restrictions on play. <br />The first possible tournament at Coal Creek is scheduled on July 11 and any need to <br />move that to another course may require a non-refundable deposit. Joe agreed to <br />set up an initial meeting with representatives of the Men’s Club, Ladies League and <br />Strokers to plan a strategy. Suggested attendees are: Brian Harris, Jon Meng, John <br />Clark, Michael Frucht, Lisa Norgard, Karen Leuschel, Jan Stevenson and Don <br />Johnson. A further meeting will be scheduled to firm up proposals when David B is <br />on board. The Men’s Club expressed ongoing concerns that the planned rack rate
