She will be working with the owners to take photos of the
existing structures.
Update on Alteration Certificate Requests: 740 Front
Trice stated the applicant requested a sign over the front door. The subcommittee released
the permit because they did not believe the new sign had a detrimental impact on the building
and because the Old Louisville Inn had a sign over the front door.
Stewart asked why the sign did not need a PUD amendment.
Trice stated not if it meets the downtown sign manual.
Items from Commission Members
Fasick stated she learned about maintenance plans for historic structures at the
conference and pointed everyone towards the State Historical website, which Trice
displayed. She asked the State if this is something Louisville could use and they said
yes. She stated it would be good if we could have a list of the owners of our Landmarks
that we could include.
Stewart stated he had inquired with Watson and Trice about recognizing past board
members and presented them with a certificate.
Watson stated it was in the works.
Stewart asked when we could expect to see that.
Discussion ensued regarding the process.
Discussion Items for Next Meeting — March 16, 2015
Trice asked for clarification on the items recommended for next month.
