Youth Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />3/5/15 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> Climbing Wall Next to the Pool <br /> Swim-Up Bars <br /> Concessions <br /> Sunscreen Sales <br /> <br />Jay discussed the issue of an indoor facility, and said that he believes that an <br />outdoor seasonal facility would work best. <br /> <br />Funding Requests for 5-Year Capital Improvements – Jay told the Board to <br />let City Council know what the Board wants to be improved and to e-mail any <br />ideas to Mandy. YAB members noted: <br /> Pavilion by Cottonwood Park needs to be improved, like the bathrooms. <br /> Another way into Monarch High School. <br /> <br />Annual Meeting With City Council – Isabella reminded the Board that everyone <br />needs to talk on a slide to City Council, which the Board will be presenting on <br />April 28th, 2015. <br /> <br />Other Boards and Commissions – Madison went to the City Council Meeting <br />on March 3rd, and listened to the Council talk about the McCaslin Small Area <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Eyes and Ears – None <br /> <br />Comments from Liaisons – Mandy thanked the Board for all of their ideas for <br />the Aquatic Facility. <br /> <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting – Creation of portfolio for the City Council <br />Meeting, Soup Kitchen information. <br /> <br />Adjourn – The meeting was adjourned at 7:55. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
