City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December21, 2010 <br />Page 10 of 11 <br />RESOLUTION No. 81, SERIES 2010— A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2010 <br />BUDGET BY AMENDING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE PEG FEES FUND AND <br />NORTHWEST PARKWAY FUND — PUBLIC HEARING (Advertised Daily Camera <br />12/17/2010) <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested a Staff presentation. <br />Finance Director Watson explained Resolution No. 81, Series 2010, proposes a series <br />of amendments to the City of Louisville's 2010 Operating & Capital Budget. The <br />proposed amendments are requested to formally adopt adjustments to the current 2010 <br />appropriations for items that were not anticipated, or were not measureable, at the time <br />the original 2010 budget was adopted. The proposed amendment adds appropriations <br />of $18,700 to the PEG Fees Fund and $250,000 to the Northwest Parkway Fund. The <br />additional appropriations in the PEG Fees Fund will be used for distributing the <br />remaining amount of the Comcast Technical Grant to CCTV, distributing PEG Fees to <br />CCTV, and expending the City's share of PEG Fees. The additional appropriations in <br />the Northwest Parkway Fund will be used for legal services and for a contingent liability <br />related to litigation. <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Marsella moved to approve Resolution No. 81, Series 2010, <br />seconded by Councilor Muckle. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote <br />of 7 -0. <br />2011 REPLACEMENT APPOINTMENT TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />Public Relations Manager Muth reported the City Council made appointments to fill the <br />2011 vacancies including the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) on November <br />16, 2010. Mr. Kevin Wiegand was appointed and has since relocated out of Louisville <br />and is no longer eligible for the position. Four other applications for the Historic <br />Preservation Commission have been received. She requested Council make two <br />appointments. The second appointment would be the alternate member. The <br />applicants are Gladys Levis -Pilz; Larry Powers; Florian Speier and Errin Weller. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to appoint Florian Speier to the Historic Preservation <br />Commission, seconded by Councilor Muckle. All were in favor. No alternate member <br />was appointed. <br />APPROVAL OF INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT WITH <br />TISCHLERBISE TO UPDATE IMPACT FEE STUDY <br />
