Based on the staff size, there is the ability for up to 70 dogs at one time The <br />Department of Agriculture requires the applicant to have staff watching dogs, when they <br />are commingled, with a ratio of at most 15 dogs to 1 person, even though they usually <br />have more than one staff person together with the dogs. Supervision is not required <br />when dogs are housed separately from each other. The supervised play groups will be <br />in the interior space of the 7,000 square foot building as well as the exterior yard. <br />APPLICANT PRESENTATION <br />Thomas Nissen, 1372 Kilkenny Street, Boulder, CO DBA The Divine Canine, 1141 <br />South Street, Louisville, stated he had nothing further to add to Mr. Russ's presentation <br />but was available to respond to Council questions. <br />MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved to approve Resolution No. 80, Series 2010, <br />seconded by Councilor Clabots.
