Using extensive public outreach, ensure <br />that the Comp Plan reflects the community vision and provides the <br />framework to achieve that vision. <br />10. Implement Downtown Parking and Pedestrian Action Plan. <br />Implement agreed upon actions regarding signage, way finding, <br />pedestrian improvements and other issues to achieve a clear sense of <br />place. <br />RECAP, ACTION, PLAN, NEXT STEPS <br />City Manager Fleming explained the staff would prepare a Work Plan/Action Plan <br />for further discussion /review at a Study Session and /or City Council meeting. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />John Leary, 1116 LaFarge Avenue, Louisville, CO questioned why this goal <br />setting exercise was not done prior to the 2012 budget process. He felt the goals <br />established by Council would serve as a valuable tool in determining the budget. <br />City Manager Fleming agreed and stated the list of goals would be revisited in <br />preparation for the 2013 budget. <br />Angie Layton, 619 W. Juniper Court, Louisville, CO thanked Council for making <br />Louisville number one and referenced the fireworks and the outdoor patios. She <br />also felt snow removal was one of the City's weaknesses. <br />Facilitator Mamet congratulated the Mayor, Council, staff and members of the <br />public for their exceptional work on setting the City's Goals and Objectives for <br />2012. <br />The Mayor, Council and staff expressed their thanks to Sam Mamet for his skill in <br />facilitating the Council Retreat. <br />ADJOURN <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />� <br />Robert Muckle, May r <br />
