Construction Services Department <br />Approval of McStain Revised Master Plan 2nd <br />Amendment <br />Approval of Bid Award - Golf Course Equipment <br />Approval of Liquor License Renewal - Mining Co. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW <br />EMPLOYEES Bud Marschner, Director of Construction Services, <br /> overseeing the Golf Course Club House, South <br /> Boulder Road Project, Recreation Center, Library <br /> Relocation and City Hall renovation was introduced <br /> and will be with the City until the late 1990's. <br /> Also introduced was Paul Wood, the City's new <br /> Planner, and Darwin Brownson in the Public Works <br /> Water and Wastewater Department. <br />PRESENTATION/APPROVAL OF GOLF COURSE CLUB <br />HOUSE DESIGN Marschner stated that several weeks previous, <br /> Council approved a contract between the City and <br /> Midyette/Seieroe and Associates for design <br /> services for the Golf Course Clubhouse. Pursuant <br /> to the terms and conditions of said contract, <br /> representatives of Midyette/Seieroe, RSL (the golf <br /> course management firm) and the Construction <br /> Services Department have met several times to <br /> advance the design. Design of the initial floor <br /> plans and elevations were reviewed for Council. <br /> Mohr moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to approve <br /> the Golf Course Clubhouse Design. Motion carried <br /> 4-0-1 with Sackett abstaining. <br />APPROVAL OF BID AWARD - ENGINE <br />ANALYZER Phare explained that on May 9, 1989, the City <br /> received bids for an Engine Analyzer for the City <br /> Shops Maintenance Facility. Since receiving bids, <br /> the City has been analyzing the various <br /> equipment's ability in regards to the anticipated <br /> use. An analysis of the equipment quoted was <br /> completed and the Public Works Department is <br /> recommending that the Engine Analyzer be purchased <br /> from Allen Equipment in the amount of $19,177. <br /> With this equipment, the City will be able to <br /> conduct its own emissions test. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Carnival seconded to award <br />the bid for the Engine Analyzer to Allen Equipment <br />Company in the amount of $19,177.
