Construction Services Department Approval of McStain Revised Master Plan 2nd Amendment Approval of Bid Award - Golf Course Equipment Approval of Liquor License Renewal - Mining Co. REGULAR BUSINESS: INTRODUCTION OF NEW EMPLOYEES Bud Marschner, Director of Construction Services, overseeing the Golf Course Club House, South Boulder Road Project, Recreation Center, Library Relocation and City Hall renovation was introduced and will be with the City until the late 1990's. Also introduced was Paul Wood, the City's new Planner, and Darwin Brownson in the Public Works Water and Wastewater Department. PRESENTATION/APPROVAL OF GOLF COURSE CLUB HOUSE DESIGN Marschner stated that several weeks previous, Council approved a contract between the City and Midyette/Seieroe and Associates for design services for the Golf Course Clubhouse. Pursuant to the terms and conditions of said contract, representatives of Midyette/Seieroe, RSL (the golf course management firm) and the Construction Services Department have met several times to advance the design. Design of the initial floor plans and elevations were reviewed for Council. Mohr moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to approve the Golf Course Clubhouse Design. Motion carried 4-0-1 with Sackett abstaining. APPROVAL OF BID AWARD - ENGINE ANALYZER Phare explained that on May 9, 1989, the City received bids for an Engine Analyzer for the City Shops Maintenance Facility. Since receiving bids, the City has been analyzing the various equipment's ability in regards to the anticipated use. An analysis of the equipment quoted was completed and the Public Works Department is recommending that the Engine Analyzer be purchased from Allen Equipment in the amount of $19,177. With this equipment, the City will be able to conduct its own emissions test. Mayor Fauson moved and Carnival seconded to award the bid for the Engine Analyzer to Allen Equipment Company in the amount of $19,177. Motion carried 5-0. 2
