approval of Resolution #15, Series 1989 which sets <br />the Special Election at a Special Council Meeting <br />on May 19, 1989. <br />The Mayor stated that Council chose to call a <br />Special Meeting and passed Resolution #15 calling <br />for a Special Election due to the fact that the <br />annexation is a controversial issue and that it <br />should go to a vote of the people. <br />Mr. Adams presented a letter to Council <br />reiterating his concerns (see attached letter from <br />Mr. Adams and entered into the Minutes as <br />Exhibit B). <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS Ferrera asked that the Finance Department put <br />together a 5-year CIP impact statement using <br />projected revenues from the proposed landfill. <br />ADJOURNMENT With no further business, Mayor Fauson moved <br />without objection to adjourn the meeting at <br />8:45 p.m. <br />6 <br />
