He was opposed to putting new streets in established neighborhoods. He felt <br />Council should listen to the residents, but did not want to miss the opportunity of <br />purchasing the property. He felt it would be advantageous to have the property. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Dalton clarified if the property was purchased there is no immediate <br />need for a roadway. If all the adjacent properties redeveloped under the MUR zoning, <br />and the roadway was delayed, it would be more expensive for future City Councils to <br />purchase this property in the future. <br />VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion failed by a vote of 6 -0. Absent: Council <br />member Loo. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1684, SERIES 2015 <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Dalton moved the City Council take no further action on <br />Ordinance No. 1684, Series 2015, seconded by Mayor Muckle. RESOLUTION No. 29, SERIES 2015 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />FINAL PLAT, FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PLAN, <br />AND SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW BUILDING AND ADDITIONS TO TWO <br />EXISTING BUILDINGS TOTALING 27,000 SQUARE FEET AND ALLOW <br />OUTDOOR SALES AND ACTIVITIES AT THE GRAIN ELEVATOR SITE, <br />500 -544 COUNTY ROAD <br />2. RESOLUTION No. 30, SERIES 2015 — A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING <br />THE LOUISVILLE GRAIN ELEVATOR AT 540 COUNTY ROAD A <br />HISTORIC LANDMARK <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />Planning and Building Safety Director Russ explained Resolution No. 29, Series 2015 <br />and Resolution No. 30, Series 2015 is a request for a final plat, final planned unit <br />development (PUD), special review use (SRU), and landmark for the Grain Elevator at <br />500 -544 County Road. He described the Grain Elevator location, the proposed uses <br />and the landmarking criteria as follows: <br />• Located in the Transition Area of Downtown Louisville <br />• Property zoned Commercial Business <br />• Three lots and one outlot <br />
