Cityoj
Louisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
Open Space Advisory Board
May 2015 Resolution of Appreciation
Resolution of Appreciation for Tom Davinroy
Whereas, Tom Davinroy has served on the City of Louisville Open Space Advisory Board for 9 years as a
member, serving as chair for six of those years.
Whereas, his time as member of OSAB has been characterized by his commitment to Open Space, rapier wit,
dedication to commuting by bicycle, extensive knowledge of hydrology and environmental sciences, 'bridge
building' with the City Council, appreciation of staff, good humored meeting facilitation and advocacy for
transparency and strategic uses of Open Space funds. His wisdom and dedication to the preservation and
conservation of all things natural and wild, volunteer spirit, apparently unlimited energy, strong leadership
and obvious love of Louisville and our open spaces, his commitment to Louisville will continue to shine and
benefit the City of Louisville and its citizens in his new role as Open Space Ranger.
Now therefore, with his departure from the Open Space Advisory Board, his fellow OSAB members, the
Director of Parks of Recreation and the Open Space Manager take this opportunity to express our sincere
gratitude for his countless and varied contributions, leadership and guidance, and our heartfelt wishes for
every success as he combines his passion for Open Space and bicycling for our continued community benefit.
12
