Historic Preservation Commission Meeting Minutes April 27, 2015 Page 5 of 9 Trice stated they do not have a summer meeting, same with the youth group. Watson stated since these are noticed meetings we could all attend. Trice agreed. Fahey asked if there was any time to have a commission member present to City Council. Trice stated absolutely. She asked the commission to contact her if they are interested in presenting. Watson asked where the item is on the City Council agenda. Trice stated it is late on the agenda. Update — City Council Study Session Fahey asked why staff made the presentation and not a commission member. Trice stated it was her decision to present the item because she thought Scott Robinson had presented last year. She stated she can make sure a commission member presents next year. Watson asked if there were any other items to discuss regarding this subject. Trice updated on the other topics discussed that night. One item was about the funding of the Austin Niehoff improvements com Watson asked whose decision it was to use the HPF for the Austin Niehoff. Trice stated it was from the City Manager. Watson stated another item discussed was in regards to the change to the roofing review process and was told by the City Manager staff didn't have time to amend the process right now. Stewart stated he believes these items were action items that need to be addressed very soon. He recommended the commission work on a definition and pass it on to staff. He recommended placing these items on upcoming agendas. Watson agreed and believed these were pretty simple subjects to address.
