Charles Sisk
From: Rob Parker [robparker@gwest.net] Sent: Sat 1/5/2008 1:30 PM
To: Charles Sisk
Cc:
Subject: .2008 Board Openings
Attachments:
Hello Chuck,'
I moved my family to Louisville in 1995. At the time, l owned my own small business in Boulder and found
Louisville as a less expensive place to raise our children.
now love the town and feel it is time to give back to the community by volunteering for one of these boards or
commissions. I called my good friend Don Brown to ask his advice on this. His advice was to go for it.
My first choice would be the Planning Commission: l understand that this is one of the most popular choices.
..This makes sense to me because I feel people with an agenda mighttry to influence decisionsthafwill benefit
themselves. I am not against growth, but I really like the way Louisville is right now. Decisions must carefully
consider all aspects and viewpoints.
I am also very interested in the Open Space Advisory Board. Open Space is precious and need to be
.maintained for the full enjoyment of our citizens.
Other than that, I am open to your suggestion on where I could be best put to work. l am happy to meet with
you or City Counsel to discuss the possibilities.
Sincerely Yours,
Rob Parker
190 Mesa Ct.
Louisville, CO 80027
Hrn. 303-673-9358
Wk. 303-591-6402
https://www2.ci.louisville.co.us/exchange/SiskC/Inbox/2008%20Board%200penings.EML... 1 /7/2008
