APPROVAL OF SCRIPPS HOWARD CABLE COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE <br />CENTER/BUSINESS OFFICE <br /> <br />Keany moved that Council continue this item until the December 19 Council meeting. Seconded by <br />Mayer. All in favor with Levihn being absent. <br /> <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that at the December 13 Work Session they will be <br />discussing the proposed adoption of the 1994 Uniform Building Code and he would bring a dra_Pt of <br />the Golf Course Management Agreement. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Davidson stated that the Council's Finance Committee met on Monday and discussed the additional <br />half million dollars needed for 88th Street. After looking at the Capital Improvement Budget for the <br />year, it was the Finance Committee's recommendation that the tennis courts and the restrooms at the <br />ballfield complex be delayed a year, or until funding was available. They would move those funds <br />to the 88th Street project. The pedestrian underpass would be lei~ in the plans, but not funded <br />pending additional funding that may arrive with additional development in Louisville. <br /> <br />Mayer asked for an update on the Solid Waste Authority. <br /> <br />Ronda Kelley, Management Assistant, stated that they had voted in favor of the resolution containing <br />the wording Council had requested. Council needed to assign a person to attend the meetings, <br />designate an alternate, and develop a signature page for the Mayor to sign to join the Authority. <br /> <br />Sisk wanted staffto look into the propriety of renaming Dyer Road to Dillon Road. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that staff had already been directed to do that. <br /> <br />Howard hoped everyone would be attending the open house of the Mann Theatres on Thursday. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
