Boulder History Museum will have Farming/Growing Season exhibit and <br />related programs <br />3. The City's upcoming Community Update will have an article on the <br />Historical Commission's Pioneer Awards, submitted by Bridget Bacon <br />C. Visitor's Report <br />1. January - 85 visitors <br />2. No group tours in January, but several calls for scheduling of tour <br />D. Activity Report <br />1. The Museum is listed in the brochure of The Association of Northe <br />Front Range Museums (ANFRM), of which the Museum i member. <br />Copies of the new brochure were distributed. <br />2. The Colorado History Museum is publishing a book entitl y in <br />Colorado that is based on the "Italians of Denver" exhibit and that has <br />relevance for Louisville <br />3. Sales Tax for 4th Quarter 2007: <br />$5,967 sales including memberships <br />$2,804 sales after deducting memberships <br />$129 collected for the State of Colora <br />$92 collected for the City of Louisville <br />E. 2008 Winter Louisville Historian has been m ed <br />F. A Best of the Louisville Historian issue with excerpts from previous issues <br />was suggested to be put togeth handed out at community events in <br />order to attract new membershi <br />G. The Commission previously donat a copy of the WWII DVD to the <br />Colorado History Museum; Chair Donna Hauswald signed the donation form <br />on behalf of the Com ission <br />H. A volunteer for the ie Branch Library for Local History in Boulder is <br />interested in intervie ouisville residents who have gone into coal mines <br />in the area. There was discussion of who could be recommended to be <br />interviewed. <br />I. The Commissioh approved payment to Morrell Printing Solutions for the <br />entire year for printing of The Louisville Historian for 2008 (up to $400 per <br />editioh) <br />J. The COmmission approved up to $1500 to convert oral history tapes to digital <br />cost is approximately $20 per tape) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />XII. ittee Reports <br />cility Management (Alice) <br />1. Elle Cabbage will be contacted regarding the plaques for the landscaping <br />beds <br />2. The securing of equipment in the garden will wait until landscaping is <br />completed <br />3. The Boulder County Youth Corp will finish landscaping this summer <br />4. Front steps of the Jacoe Store will be completed as part of the City of <br />Louisville concrete project <br />5. Fencing should not be placed until fall, after all landscaping is completed <br />
