Special Events Permit Application — Tri-City Elks Lodge #2541 — 525
Main St. Friday, 9/11/15 3-9 PM and Saturday, 9/12/15 10 AM — 9 PM
Chairperson Machado noted this is an application for an event to be held at Tri-
City Elks Lodge at 525 Main Street. Lipton asked if there had been any issues
with special events at the Elks Lodge. Secretary Hanson noted there had not
been, however, this application is for an event outside of their normal premises.
The event is being held in the parking lot and they are going through a special
event process with the City. The City required and is waiting for a poll of the
neighbors.
Machado inquired whether the special event liquor permit needed to be
conditioned upon the separate approval of the special event permit through the
City. Authority Attorney Light noted the approval of the liquor permit could be
done on its own. If other items were not approved for the event, those would
also stand on their own.
Carlson moved to approve the Special Events Liquor Permit for Tri City Elks for
September 11 and 12, 2015. Seconded by Hughes. Roll Call Vote: Hughes —
yes, Carlson — yes, Lipton — yes, Tennessen — yes and Machado — yes. Special
Events Permit approved.
B.
