either have to have that contingency
in the purchase agreement, or we
would have to go get permission from
the County and the City of
Lafayette, as our partners in the
purchase, to allow that expansion.
I understand from your remarks that
the sludge disposal, as far as the
drying portion of the sludge from
the treatment plant needs additional
acreage to be spread out before it's
mixed and given away or sold. That
would be a natural activity that
would like to occur on part of that
property. That would either have to
be covered in the original purchase
agreement or would have to be
subject to permission from our other
partners. Is that correct?

Phare:

My opinion is to identify what
rights come with that property
regarding our particular interest
would help clarify any future
discussions with other owners of the
property. The use for the Waste
Water Treatment Plant is for
ultimate permanent disposal of
sledge through the incorporation of
the soil. It would not necessarily
be salvaged and made available. We
think that we have more than enough
to both give away and need a
permanent land disposal site in the
future. Our waste water needs are
identified in the 3 to 3 1/2 million
gallon range, ultimately. We have
that amount of capacity,
essentially, already in place,
provided we have some modifications
to our sledge disposal process. We
are not necessarily stating that we
absolutely need additional room.
However, flexibility and freedom is
always desirable when we're dealing
with institutional land owners,
because it can be quite a hinderance
in the future for expansion should
no other options be available.

Davidson:

In the discussions with the County
and Lafayette on Monday, they're

22
