It doesn't have to be very big and not something you're broadcasting for a visitor, but just something, so that anyone who is considering buying has adequate warning that it is a private alley. So, if you do that along with the no parking, I would support it. I have problems with it, but I can't think of anything better to go there. I ask Council to consider, if we're going to sign Pine Street no parking and there's no parking on the street scape here, are we just creating future headaches for ourselves? Where are people going to park except in their driveway? Just because this is currently the best of all the bad alternatives, I don't feel it really justifies the many deficiencies. The density here is the problem. If this was a multi- family or town home development, we would require that the developer provide parking for the residences at so many parking spaces per unit. Given the fact that these are going to be fairly large homes, we need something even larger in terms of parking. Yet, we're going to possibly say, well, lets put it in then we'll sign it and see what happens. Would there be any way to add additional parking along the alley, anywhere in there? You could add additional parking places next to the driveways. Right now there is space for four cars per unit, which is got to be more than any parking requirement you have now - close to double. I think what you're concerned about is guest parking. If someone has a party, the guests are going to park on the side streets, just like they do on any other collector that's restricted like that. No matter what you do in terms of development on this site, they'll either park in the host's driveway or park on the 4O
