Call to Order- Co -Chair Mike Frontczak called the meeting to order at 7:07 pm. <br />II. Roll Call - Board members present: Shelly Alm, Neal Griggsmiller, Mike Frontczak, <br />English Hopkins, Mark Newland, Ellen Toon, Beverlee White. Staff Members present: <br />Chris Lichty. City Council member present: Susan Loo. <br />III. The agenda was approved by all members. <br />IV. The minutes from the July 2, 2015 meeting were approved. <br />V. Public Comments on Items note on the Agenda: <br />Ellen Toon noted the error in the the Hometown Weekly article, 8/5 -11 edition, about <br />Community gardens and the Sustainability Advisory Board "partnership with the city's <br />Friends of the Arboretum non profit that will run the garden's finances ". Involvement with <br />Friends of the Arboretum is necessary because contributions need to go to a 501c3. The <br />Board agreed that the Sustainability Advisory Board should set up its own 501c3. <br />Susan Loo brought up the current Council discussion of whether to have a separate Parks and <br />Recreation Board and HFAB or one Board with sub - committees. <br />Susan Loo gave a heads up on two new massive Louisville projects which will require <br />landscaping: McCaslin Market Place and the Old Sante Fe Grill building.
