Library is <br />conducting a survey. Silent film is 10/10/2015. <br />• Marketing Committee: Facebook advertising — will try it out with the <br />MaryLynn Gillaspie concert. <br />• Cultural Arts Master Plan Committee: Need to schedule a meeting in <br />September. December 3rd is a goal for the first draft for public review. <br />February 2016 presentation to City Council. <br />City Council Report — September is City Council budgeting cycle. <br />Staff Updates — <br />• Americans for the Arts conference — Chicago <br />• Boulder Arts & Immigration — traveling art exhibit. <br />• Louisville Art District — Renaming of "Laddy Lane" from South St to Elm, <br />murals will be commissioned. Gina is representing LCC in that group. <br />Their fundraising mechanism is "Rhythm & Hues ". <br />• Bridget Bacon provided information for expansion of the historical <br />museum, included at end of packet. Historic Preservation Commission <br />has a draft Plan that they would like feedback on. <br />Chairman's Report — Proposal from Susan Honstein as part of the CAST /FACE <br />project to get more SCFD funds based on Louisville's contribution to the SCFD. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting — September 17th: proposed LCC Mission <br />Statement and Job Description. <br />Adjourn — The meeting was adjourned at 9:01 pm. <br />-- For approval -- <br />
