Act as a service and advocacy body for the arts... • Consensus: Combine with #6. General comments from Hank: Mission statement should have an elegant simplicity. Don't stumble on specifics. Make sure 5 future functions are reflected in the mission statement. Meredyth: Other committees are drafting Job Descriptions, which can address specifics. It will be helpful to prepare a short, bulleted LCC job description. Tammy, Blake, and Lawrence will draft a proposed Mission Statement and Job Description for the next meeting. LCC is the Board of the 501(c)(3). Programming Reports /Committee Updates — • Summer Concerts in the Park: 6 concerts were held in Summer 2015. Surveys were handed out at last concert to collect feedback and ideas for next year. $277, $144, $6, $0, $186, $304 — collected in donations at the concerts. (The $0 night was a concert cancelled due to weather.) • Sunday Chamber Committee: Lawrence will propose a CU quintet with a holiday program for 12/6/2015. • Lecture Committee: November 18th & 20th — will be released to Art Underground for an event. LCC will be a co- sponsor of the event. • Friday Night LIVE! Committee: Posters are ready for the 2 Fall events. -- For approval --
