Cityoj
Om Louisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
VII. Development review —Dean commented on HFAB's current role in the landscape plans
review process, especially whether HFAB should review only projects that will be
maintained by the City as opposed to HOA- maintained rights -of -way and commercial
projects such as DELO. Per the board's bylaws, HFAB's input does not carry weight in the
approval process. Discussion will continue regarding the long -term issues involved with
the many landscapes that are not maintained by the City.
VIII. City use of neonicotinoids —Susan stated that Council is looking for advice regarding the
use of herbicides on public lands. Dean stated that the City does not use any products
containing neonicotinoids. Some residents have expressed concern that plant material
being sold at local stores such as Home Depot and Lowe's may contain neonics.
Discussion will continue; possible topic for HFAB- sponsored library talk next year.
IX. Pruning demonstration at Arboretum— Possible dates are Saturday, October 17 or October
24. Dean will check with Chris and Michael to schedule.
X.
