Call to Order- Helen called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm. <br />II. Roll Call - <br />Board Members Present: Helen Moshak, Laura Scott Denton, Spencer Guthrie, <br />Linda Smith, Christopher Smith <br />Board Members Absent: Mike Schantz, Missy Davis <br />City Council Members Present: Jeff Lipton <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Lauren Tice <br />III. Approval of Agenda - <br />Spencer moved to approve the agenda as written. Helen seconded. The motion <br />was passed unanimously. <br />IV. Approval of Minutes - <br />Spencer moved to approve the minutes as written. Laura seconded. The motion <br />was passed unanimously. <br />V. Staff Updates - <br />A. The City Climate Change Symposium is a three -part speaker series in <br />Sept/Oct/Nov, and is attractively and prominently advertised on the City website. Tom <br />and Ember are interested in recording the talks for people who miss it if possible. <br />B. Meredith sent out an email about election rules for staff and board members, <br />please read the information and let staff know if you have questions. <br />C. In 2016, there will be two OSAB "Study Sessions" with City Council. The first <br />is scheduled for Feb 23rd and the second will be held in August. <br />D. Boulder County Open Space is doing a series of bus tours for its 40th <br />anniversary. Linda reported the farm property bus tour was great. The east County <br />tour, that includes City of Louisville /Boulder County jointly owned properties, such as <br />Harney Lastoka, will be September 22nd from 3 -7pm. <br />E. There was very little purple loosestrife (a noxious weed that must be removed) <br />on City property this season. It was found only on the Golf Course and was eradicated. <br />F. Harlan is doing trail work at Coyote Run. <br />G. Open Space staff is moving into the new City Services building in late <br />September. <br />H. Trail edge seeding is underway. <br />I. The Open Space finance audit will begin soon. <br />J. City Council will have a budget session on September 25th. The City Manager <br />will present his suggested budget to Council, which they may then revise before <br />adoption in November. <br />K.
