like Louisville is. He wondered if that was equitable. He didn't
understand why they get the same priority as Louisville, if
Louisville is up fronting their cost, as well as money for
purchase.

Griffiths:

The draft IGA from February 8, does
not identify the proposed location
of the Lafayette ball field, other
than they could not be along 'South
Boulder Road. They are putting
money up front, $220,000.00 for
Parcel 1, Louisville, $330.000.00,
and Boulder County, $110,000.00.

Howard didn't hear covered the issue of if the access is on Hwy. 42
for Lafayette's ball fields, how many accesses are going to be
allowed on that property, because there is a question of how close
the accesses are to one another, and the interference with one
another.

Griffiths:

Excellent question. It would be a
follow-up question to where is it
that they would want to put their
ball fields.

Davidson:

Since Lafayette has no immediate
plan to do any ball fields, they
probably haven't located a spot. If
Louisville buys the southern 60
acres and you can't have ball fields
on South Boulder Road, there may not
be any room left for Lafayette to
have ball fields.

Howard:

When are these items supposed to be
written down somewhere?

Davidson:

At the last negotiating meeting, we
didn't have attorneys present,
because we were mainly discussing
drainage issues. I haven't had a
status report on those, but I'm
assuming determining responsibility
for the water'that runs under Hwy.
42 is in process.

Tom Phare, Public Works Director, communicated a request to the
City Attorney to examine our responsibilities. Their material is
not finalized.

Davidson:

We were going to ask for an opinion
from the Urban 'Flood Control

9
