Sycamore Court, Louisville, Colorado, was
concerned about a proposed bike path that would run along the south
side of Sundance One Subdivision, between that and the Warembourg
property. He felt the City would be building a bike path that is
about 1/3 mile long, when they could do about the about the same
thing with 100 ft. construction, as opposed to 1/3 mile. He
commented that the proposed bike path does not improve the access
to the Recreation Center, which he has been told the bike path is
supposed to do for residents of that neighborhood. There is
already an access through the end of the cul-de-sac in that area,
which people already use. He felt that, if that were to be used,
it would be a great cost savings, as well as better access for the
residents of that neighborhood. He had talked to about 15
neighbors in that neighborhood and almost uniformly they were
against the idea of having a bike path along that particular area.
