Howard moved that Council accept this agreement with the exclusion <br />of Section L, which defines the drainage and that Louisville would <br />purchase the property in one (1) year. Sisk seconded. <br /> <br />Sisk offered a friendly amendment to retain the first paragraph in <br />Section L and delete any verbosity thereafter, i.e., the second <br />paragraph. <br /> <br />Howard accepted that. <br /> <br />Griffiths: <br /> <br />Just for clarification, Louisville <br />would be purchasing 25% of the total <br />in the first year and not paying any <br />option money. <br /> <br />Davidson read the first paragraph of Section L, concerning the <br />drainage, "The parties, as owners of interests in the property, <br />hereby express their desire to avoid to the extent practicable <br />construction of major new drainage facilities on the property, <br />particularly on the northwest portion of the property, which would <br />adversely affect its open space nature." <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Tie vote, Davidson, Hornbostel, and Mayer <br />voting against and Howard, Sisk, and Hedding voting for, with <br />Lathrop being absent. <br /> <br />Mayer moved for Council to reconsider. <br /> <br />Hornbostel: <br /> <br />For what reason? <br /> <br />Mayer: <br /> <br />I want t6 make sure the first <br />paragraph is in there (under Section <br />L), because I think it gives us the <br />best chance of .... <br /> <br />Howard seconded. <br /> <br />Griffiths: <br /> <br />The vote right now is only on the <br />question of whether to reconsider? <br /> <br />Davidson: Yes. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 4 - 2 vote, with Davidson <br />and Hornbostel voting against. <br /> <br />Davidson called for any further discussion on reconsidering <br />Councilman Howard's motion. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson called for a roll call on reconsidering Councilman <br />Howard's motion, which was to approve the document, including the <br /> <br /> <br />
