INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY
AND ESTABLISHING A TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE
IF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION COMPLIES WITH STATUTORY
REQUIREMENTS

Annette Brand, City Administrator, announced that with Paul Wood,
Planning Director, being on vacation, Peter Kernkamp, Planner,
would make the presentation.

Peter Kernkamp, Planner, stated that the property involved 29,801
s.f. (.684 acre) located at the Northwest corner of Aspen Way and
Roosevelt. He explained that this property is currently a small
unincorporated enclave within the City limits, occupied by one
single family residence at 349 Roosevelt. The request is for
annexation and zoning to RL without any conditions, which is
consistent with the surrounding zoning. The statutory requirements
for annexation are substantially complied with, and there is 100%
contiguity with the City limits.

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Gary Dart, 349 Roosevelt, Louisville, Colorado, was there just to
answer any questions.

Davidson called for any Council questions.

Mayer inquired of staff, concerning the land dedication, or cash-
in-lieu-of, it stated that it was optional. He assumed that, if
the City has fees charged, they have to be uniform across the
board. He wondered how that was going to be handled.

Kernkamp stated that Dart isn't requesting a subdivision.

Davidson called for any other Council questions.

NONE

Sisk moved that Council adopt Resolution No. 17, Series 1993.
Seconded by Davidson. All in favor.

ORDINANCE NO. 1106, SERIES 1993 -ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF
LOUISVILLE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY - GARY DART - 1ST
READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING

Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1106, Series 1993, "An
ordinance annexing to the City of Louisville, Colorado, property
located generally at the northwest corner intersection of Aspen Way
and Rooosevelt Avenue, which is owned by Gary Dart."

Peter Kernkamp, Planner, explained that this ordinance is to annex
the property, 1st reading.

10
