All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1107, SERIES 1993 - ZONING CERTAIN REAL <br />PROPERTY - GARY DART - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING <br />7/6/93 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1107, Series 1993, "An <br />ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />entitled "Zoning" by zoning property owned by Gary N. Dart." <br /> <br />Peter Kernkamp, Planner, stated that this ordinance would establish <br />RL (residential low-density) zoning on the property upon <br />annexation. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions, comments, or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council place Ordinance No. 1107, Series 1993, out <br />for publication and set a Public Hearing for July 6, 1993. <br />Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18, SERIES 1993 - AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL REVIEWUSE <br />TO ATW~W A DANCE STUDIO/INSTRUCTION, PRE-SCHOOL AND PRIVATE <br />MEETINGS AT 628 LAFARGE AVENUE - FORMER AMERICAN LEGION CLUB <br /> <br />Peter Kernkamp, Planner, stated that the request is to use this <br />property in the evening hours from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 <br />p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday <br />for a dance studio. He explained that the building would be <br />remodeled for studio use. In addition, the applicant is requesting <br />that during the times the building is not in use, to use it for <br />operating a pre-school (not daycare) during the daytime hours. He <br />stated that it is required to be licensed by the state and the plan <br />has been revised to show a fenced outdoor play area located in the <br />rear of the property between the building and the existing City <br />parking lot. The applicant had also requested that at any other <br />times, when the building is not utilized, that they have the <br />potential under the special review use to have private meetings <br />held. The applicant had indicated to Kernkamp that there was no <br />intention to apply for a liquor license, nor will alcoholic <br />beverages be served at any time on the premises. The Planning <br />Commission held a Public Hearing on this and recommended approval <br />and recommended approval with five conditions (SEE ATTACHED). He <br />stated that concerning condition No.'s 4 and 5, the conditions have <br />been complied with on the revised plans that had been submitted. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
