ON SOUTH SIDE OF MEMORY SQUARE <br /> PARK- SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 1993, LOUISVILLE ARTS AND HUMANITIES <br /> FILM FESTIVAL <br /> APPROVE COST OF APPRAISAL FOR COLACCI'S PROPERTIES <br />APPROVE REVISION OF BID AWARD FOR NORTH AND SOUTH TRAIL PEDESTRIAN <br /> BRIDGES <br />APPROVE DEFEASANCE OF AVISTA HOSPITAL BONDS <br /> <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS - ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for anyone in the audience wishing to speak on any <br />issue not on the agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Lathrop felt that it was appropriate to have a regular Agenda item <br />for brief Council comments on issues that Councilmembers may wish <br />to communicate to the public early in the Council meeting. As an <br />example, Lathrop mentioned the recent occurrences of graffiti <br />within the City, which was of great concern to him. He asked for <br />the citizens assistance in furnishing informational leads to the <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />Sisk expressed Council's thanks to Dianne Shanks and the volunteers <br />for the successful 4th of July celebration and the fireworks <br />display. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW EMPLOYEES - 2ND QUARTER <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, introduced Dan Blankenship, City <br />Engineer; John McEnroe, Chief Water Plant Operator; Johnnie Oldham, <br />Building Maintenance Worker I; Don Ryan, Operations Manager; Kay <br />Smith, Operations Technician. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
