RESOLUTION NO. 26, SERIES 1993 -APPRECIATION OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES BY JOSEPH LABOZAN - BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS - 7/92 THROUGH 6/93 Davidson read Resolution No. 26, which will be mailed to Mr. Labozan. PROCLAMATION - NATIONAL RECREATIONAND PARKS MONTH - JULY 1993 Davidson read and presented the National Recreation and Parks Month Proclamation to Margaret Hornbostel. PROCLAMATION - ITALIAN HERITAGE WEEK - AUGUST 16 - 20, 1993 - RAYMOND CARANCI, PRESIDENT AND JOHN CHIOLINO Davidson read and presented the Italian Heritage Week Proclamation to Ray Caranci. Ray Caranci, President of the Society of American Italians, thanked the Mayor and Council for the recognition. He invited all to the LaFesta di Louisville. DART ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. 1106, SERIES 1993 -ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO CERTAINREAL PROPERTY - GARY N. DART - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1106, Series 1993, "An ordinance annexing to the City of Louisville, Colorado, property located generally at the northwest corner intersection of Aspen Way and Roosevelt Avenue, which is owned by Gary Dart." Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the property is a 29,801 s.f. (.684 acres) parcel located at the northwest corner of Aspen Way and Roosevelt Avenue. On April 13, 1993, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and adopted Resolution No. 5, Series 1993, recommending approval of the annexation and zoning to residential/low density, RL. On May 18, 1993, the City Council adopted Resolution 17, finding the annexation in compliance with applicable statutes, which would include Ordinance No. 1106 for the annexation and Ordinance No. 1107 for the rezoning. He explained that these are ordinances without conditions. The property around this parcel is zoned RL. It is an enclave and has been platted for some time, as part of the 1st addition to Johnson Subdivision. The applicant has indicated that he would like to pursue replatting and development as single family development. Davidson opened the public hearing and asked if the applicant wished to make a presentation.
