Sisk wondered what the sign restrictions on Lot 6 (gas station)
would be.

Shonkwiler:

Those of the ordinances of the City
of Louisville and the availability
of one low, free standing sign,
maximum of 6 ft. high, 4 ft. x 8
ft., mounted no more than 2 ft.
above the ground.

Sisk wondered how the 125,000 s.f. building would balloon into
200,000 s.f.

Shonkwiler:

There original proposal is 125,000+.
The active development before us
will be for a potential 35,000 s.f.
addition to the east or the rear of
that store. This proposed expansion
of 75 - 80,000 s.f. to the south
side is no longer active. The
landscaping will remain exactly the
same, regardless of their expansion,
or lack of it. All they are
proposing for the back of this
expansion is a drive-thru for truck
traffic, because the new loading
will occur at the ends of this.

Sisk:

The loading areas will be to the
east. Our friends on Dahlia are
going to get semi-trucks coming in
on Dahlia coming in for deliveries.

Shonkwiler:

Semi-trucks are going to come in on
Dahlia, regardless. When we
constructed that street, it was
constructed specifically to provide
for commercial semi-truck traffic.
The truck will come off of the
interchange south of McCaslin, east
on Dillon Road. It's going to
proceed north on Dahlia. At this
point, the way our loading is
projected on even the first phase of
their retail, I would guess that the
truck is going to go all the way to
the north entry.

Hornbostel wondered if it was a possibility to enclose the loading
area.

8
