That's when we get calls. One of the things we're doing is burying drops with the new construction on a joint trench service lateral to the home, with gas, power, electric, and phone in the feeder line. We're also installing the drops to the home in a joint trench that's deep, before the grading. Lathrop wondered if any of the 14 communities that Scripps Howard served had an independent office. Griffin stated that they have building in: Ft. Lupton - They've donated the use of that building as a Senior Center. There is a newspaper running a weekly there that they've given free office space to, if they collect the payments for Scripps Howard. Loveland - They have a studio and an employee there, very similar building to Ft. Lupton. Lathrop: Have you or would you consider a roving manager? He explained that they have discussed a centralized location in the Lafayette, Louisville, Superior area. Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that in Mr. Griffin's comments he offered to provide the city with a comparison of the rates in Louisville with the rates of other cable companies in the metro area. She asked him to provide that information, including a comparison of the rates charged by Scripps Howard in the other 13 communities they serve. Griffin stated that they would do that.
