Job Bulletin Page 3 of 4 <br />• All candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Colorado driver's <br />license with an acceptable driving record for last 3 years. <br />• Must have a current CPR /First Aid certification or obtain within the first 60 days of <br />employment. <br />• Submit to drug screening <br />PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: <br />Position requires ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods of time throughout city and open <br />space traii systems, work outdoors, often in adverse weather conditions Including rain, snow, <br />heat and high winds; walk on uneven terrain for long periods. Perform strenuous hiking, <br />standing, walking, sitting, digging, hammering, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Must be <br />physically able to lift, push, pull and /or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to hear and respond to in- <br />person requests and communicate via a two -way radio. <br />WORK ENVIRONMENT: <br />Primarily outdoor environment in all temperatures and weather conditions. Hours will include <br />weekends and holidays. Work Schedule: Hours vary, but are generally Friday through Tuesday. <br />Will be required to work most weekends, holidays, and special events during the summer season <br />(Memorial Day to Labor Day). <br />Criteria for use of Background Information in Selection Process: <br />Demonstrated personal and professional honesty, integrity, and good judgment as shown in <br />applicant's criminal history, background, and motor vehicle records. In addition to background, <br />criminal and driving record information, drug screening, and physical testing will be used after a <br />conditional job offer is made for further evaluation in the selection process.
