Job Bulletin Page 3 of 4 • All candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable driving record for last 3 years. • Must have a current CPR /First Aid certification or obtain within the first 60 days of employment. • Submit to drug screening PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: Position requires ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods of time throughout city and open space traii systems, work outdoors, often in adverse weather conditions Including rain, snow, heat and high winds; walk on uneven terrain for long periods. Perform strenuous hiking, standing, walking, sitting, digging, hammering, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Must be physically able to lift, push, pull and /or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to hear and respond to in- person requests and communicate via a two -way radio. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily outdoor environment in all temperatures and weather conditions. Hours will include weekends and holidays. Work Schedule: Hours vary, but are generally Friday through Tuesday. Will be required to work most weekends, holidays, and special events during the summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Criteria for use of Background Information in Selection Process: Demonstrated personal and professional honesty, integrity, and good judgment as shown in applicant's criminal history, background, and motor vehicle records. In addition to background, criminal and driving record information, drug screening, and physical testing will be used after a conditional job offer is made for further evaluation in the selection process.
