He stated that they are willing to re-establish an office in <br />Louisville and cancel their contract with Business Answers. <br /> <br />Sisk wondered if there was a lease signed in the City of Louisville <br />for office/business space. <br /> <br />Griffin stated that they own a building in Louisville (Lafayette <br />Street) and that is one possibility, but the road to it is full of <br />ruts during the winter. At the upcoming meeting on December 21, <br />1993, he wanted to come with a resolution. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that he would be willing to discuss a Special <br />Improvement District for the road to their building with them. <br /> <br />Lathrop stated that due to poor access and the difficulty in <br />finding it, the Lafayette Street location would be unwise. <br /> <br />Davidson called for further comments or questions. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CABLE TELEVISIONFRANCHISERENEWAL-PUBLICHEARING (CONTINUED FROM <br />11/16/93) - REQUEST TO CONTINUE HEARING TO 12/21/93 <br /> <br />Chris Miller, Assistant to the City Administrator, stated that <br />staff requested that this be continued to December 21, 1993. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council continue this meeting until January 18, <br />1994. All in favor with Hedding being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 48, SERIES 1993 - CONCERNING REGULATION OF BASIC <br />SE~ICE RATES OF ANY CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE PROVIDING BASIC <br />SE~ICE WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, state that the purpose of this <br />resolution is to formalize in writing the understanding that, when <br />the City assumed the responsibility for regulating basic cable <br />sexwice rates, it would be doing so in full compliance with <br />applicable FCC regulations. The procedures followed by the city <br />would provide a reasonable opportunity for participation by the <br />public and the Council may from time to'time consider additional <br />procedures and regulations for basic service rate. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions or motions. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council adopt Resolution No. 48, Series 1993, <br />concerning regulation of basic service rates of any cable <br />television franchise providing service within the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado.
