Brown would like to see this information in the Community Update. <br /> <br />CENTURY RETAIL PLAZA PARKING CONCERNS <br />Sackett requested this agenda item and relayed his request that, if possible, the City try <br />to help with the parking congestion at this site. <br /> <br />Wood reported that as the project is complete; there is little the City can do. It really is a <br />management issue for the landlord. <br /> <br />BUSINESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM UPDATES <br />Hogan reported that the Promotech agreement is scheduled to go to Council on tober <br />2 and that language has been finalized for the agreement with Koel I and Comp y for <br />CV 282. <br /> <br />SHOP LOUISVILLE UPDATE <br />Hogan and Muth gave a quick update on the program notin at the web site should be <br />functional this week for the beginning of business registration ith a rollover of the site in <br />November to also accept consumer registrations. In addition, n. rs and other advertising <br />has begun. Mark Zaremba will give the full Coun . a short updat on where things stand <br />at the October 16 meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />WEB SITE SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMI TION UPDATE <br />Muth reported that the City's purchasing policies require that additional bids be taken for <br />work in this price range, and staff is currently working on getting those bids. <br /> <br />RETE <br />Members reported on their recent vi <br /> <br /> <br />VISIT UPDATE <br /> <br />Brown reported hearing that the CTC needs to be more connected with downtown, both <br />physically (perhaps more bike paths) and making connections with downtown <br />businesses, particularl estaurants. <br /> <br />Hogan and Muth will wo n a year-end report compiling the information from the <br />retention reports. <br /> <br /> <br />up from the visits was the suggestion for a CEO breakfast that Avista <br />host. Staff will work on that for first quarter 2008. <br /> <br />DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY UPDATE <br />Hogan gave a quick review of her activities for September. <br /> <br />Hogan reported that the Sun parcel is under contract but the buyer is currently <br />undisclosed. <br /> <br />Hogan noted that the City may want to compile a list of local nonprofits that local <br />companies can consider for their end-of-year giving. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE COMMENTS <br />
