Executive Director's Report <br />A. City Council Study Session on September 11,2007 - Feedback on the <br />Study Session with City Council was positive, with the Commission <br />members who were in attendance feeling well received by City <br />Council. <br />B. City Budget Update <br />1. The Museum Coordinator's hours are being proposed to be <br />increased from 20 to 29 hours per week for 2008. <br />2. Painting and step reconfiguration are in the proposed City budget, <br />subject to approval. <br />C. Commission members whose terms will end in January need to send a <br />letter or email for reappointment or resignation by November 15 to the <br />City Manager's Office. <br /> <br />VIII. Museum Coordinator's Report <br />A. Deeds of Gifts accepted: <br />1. James Graves - Items that belonged to his father, L. C. Graves, <br />including LHS football programs, scrapbooks, and newspapers. <br />2. David Ferguson - 1942 photo of Louisville servicemen and a corn <br />grinder for making polenta. <br />3. Jean Morgan - strap-on roller skates and a mug commemorating <br />the 75th anniversary of the First National Bank, 1915-1990, with an <br />image of the Huckleberry building. <br />4. Ronda Leggett - pair of knit cuffs with The Hub Store label <br />5. Dolores Lasnik Forbis - LHS letter sweater and cheerleading <br />uniform from 1946-47. <br />6. Marianne Lastoka - photos and written material relating to the <br />Harney Lastoka farm and family members as well as Louisville's <br />Little Italy, much of it based on her interviews and research. <br />B. Correspondence <br />1. The St. Louis School sent a thank-you card to tour guide Don <br />Ross. <br />2. An article on bread ovens in Louisville appeared in the YourHub <br />publication. <br />
