Sackett stated that the City must be very careful in
developing this major entrance to Louisville.
Council must be very careful during the PUD process
to ensure a quality and aesthetic development. "I
am quite please with what they (RB Development) have
done at the Enclave. It looks to me that they are
trying to make their:- development a valuable asset
to our City. I feel good about the people we are
working with, but I do want to make it clear that
this is one project that I will want to look at in
detail at the PUD tame..."
Carnival stated that: he also feels comfortable with
the way Planning Commission and staff brought this
to Council. "I likes the ability that it has to
restrict certain uses out there to protect the
entryway to the City, yet keeps the CB zoning in
tact as we have it right now."
Scarpella echoed Sac:kett's concerns and will look
forward to working with the developers during the
time of the PUD.
Mayor Fauson stated that this won't be the only
interchange the City will be working with. Some-
time in the near future, an alternative zoning
should be looked at for these types of inter-
changes. Mayor Fauson feels very comfortable with
this annexation.
Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called
for a motion.
Mohr moved that Ordinance #946 be adopted.
Scarpella seconded. By Roll Call Vote, Ordinance
#946 was adopted unanimously.
ORDINANCE #947 - DYER ROAD ZONING
PUBLIC HEARING Williamson read by title only Ordinance #947, "An
Ordinance amending Z'itle 17 of the Louisville
Municipal Code entii:led "Zoning" by zoning property
owned by 1007 Corporation." Proof of publication
and notice of public hearing were established.
Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing.
Wanush stated that t:he action taken on Ordinance
#946 annexed this piece of property and this
Ordinance #947 propc>ses to zone this parcel CB.
Wanush asked that his comments during the
presentation of Ordinance #947 be incorporated into
the hearing on this Ordinance #946.
Mayor Fauson asked for comments either in favor of
or in opposition to Ordinance #947. None.
4
