CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />FEBRUARY 2, 1988 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, <br /> John Sackett, Mike Mohr and Alan Scarpella <br />Staff present: Terry Hundley, Citty Administrator <br /> Steve Williamson, City Attorney <br /> Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br /> Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services <br /> Rich Wanush, Director of Community Development <br />Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk <br /> William Hesson, T~°easurer <br />Absent: Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services <br /> Tom Phare, Director of Public Works <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked Council to amend the Agenda by <br /> moving the Recess and Review of City Service <br /> Providers to the E.nd of the Agenda and moved that <br /> the Agenda be app2-oved as amended. Carnival <br /> seconded. Unanimous. <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent <br /> Calendar. None. Mayor Fauson moved and Scarpella <br /> seconded to approve the Consent Calendar as <br /> submitted. Unanimous. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minutes <br /> Approval of Bills <br /> Approval of Liquor License Renewal - Tri City Elks <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />RESOLUTION #10 - SERIES 1988 - FINDING OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS MENKICR WEST <br />ANNEXATION PETITION Williamson stated that the District Court earlier <br /> today granted Louisville's motion to dismiss the <br /> lawsuit that was filed last September by the Town of <br /> Superior which requested that the District Court <br /> order an election on the Menkick annexation. The <br /> dismissal of the action means that Louisville is <br /> free to proceed. :It is Williamson's recommendation <br /> to the City that the notice of public hearing be <br /> republished on the Menkick annexation as it was <br /> originally scheduled and published to be held in <br /> September of 1987. Quite a bit of time has elapsed <br /> and statute provides that the hearing is to be held <br /> between 30-60 days after the publication. It also <br />1 <br />
