CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />MARCH 9, 1988 CONTINU;ATION OF~REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in the Council Chambers, 749 <br />Main Street, Louisville, Colorado as a continuation of their March 1, 1988 <br />Regular Council Meeting. Mayor Fauson called the meeting to order at 7:30 <br />p.m. and the following persons were present.; <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, <br />John Sackett, Mike Mohr and Alan Scarpella <br />Staff present: Terry Hundley, City Administrator <br />Steve Williamson, City Attorney <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci., Director of Financial Services <br />Rich Wanush, Director of Community Development <br />Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services <br />Tom Phare, Director of Public Works <br />Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk <br />Absent: William Hesson, Treasurer <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />Mayor Fauson established that this is a coni~inuation of Council's March 1, <br />1988 Regular City Council Meeting to consider final action on Ordinances <br />#948 and #949 relating the the Coal Creek Ranch Annexation and Zoning. <br />Anderson and Sackett asked to be excused from proceedings on any action <br />taken regarding these two issues so as not to cause any possible conflict <br />of interest. <br />ORDINANCE #948 - COAL CREEK RANCH ANNEXATION - <br />2ND READING By title only Ordinance #948, "An Ordinance <br />annexing to the City of Louisville, Colorado, a <br />parcel of property of approximately 227 acres <br />generally located along Coal Creek between Dillon <br />Road and Cherry Street." Proof of publication for <br />both Ordinance #948 and #949 were established as <br />was notice of public hearing. <br />Mayor Fauson stated that at the regular Council <br />Meeting on March 1, 1988, the Council held a <br />public hearing on Ordinance #948. Because the <br />annexation agreement: had not been finalized, the <br />meeting was continued until March 9th to allow <br />both parties to conclude their negotiations. The <br />agreement has now been finalized and Ordinance <br />#948 is ready for Council action. <br />Williamson stated that Council received copies of <br />two Letters of Credit from First Interstate of <br />Denver on behalf of Community Holding which is the <br />Coal Creek Ranch gre~up, and from United Bank of <br />1 <br />
