The <br />agreement has now been finalized and Ordinance <br />#949 is ready for Council action. <br />Williamson stated that this Ordinance zones Coal <br />Creek Ranch PCZD. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that Ordinance #949 be adopted. <br />Szymanski seconded. By Roll Call Vote, Ordinance <br />#949 was adopted 5-•0. <br />Hundley stated that: although there is much work to <br />be accomplished from this point forward, he is <br />confident that the Spaghetti Open can be in <br />Louisville by 1990. <br />OTHER: <br />GOLF COURSE ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE Hundley stated that as a follow-up to tonight's <br />action a Committee needs to be appointed to <br />oversee the golf course selection of management, <br />bids, etc. between now and July. The Annexation <br />Agreement calls for a Committee to be set up as <br />follows: 1 City Councilman, the City <br />Administrator, the golf course architect, 1 person <br />designated by the City, and 1 representative from <br />the Hospital, Homart, and the Louisville Golf <br />Association, and the Annexor. Hundley will put <br />this on the regular agenda at Council's next <br />meeting. <br />AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN NEGOTIATIONS FOR GOLF <br />COURSE DESIGN Hundley stated that as a follow-up, negotiations <br />must begin for the golf course design with Dick <br />Phelps as outlined :in the Annexation Agreement. <br />Hundley is asking for authorization to begin <br />negotiations with Mir. Phelps for this work. <br />Szymanski moved than Council authorize staff to <br />negotiate with Dick Phelps for the design of the <br />golf course. Mohr seconded. <br />Sackett asked if Ha7Le Irwin would be used as a <br />consultant in any ai°ea of the design of the golf <br />course. Hundley explained that the Advisory <br />Committee could certainly consider that and bring <br />their suggestions back to Council for approval. <br />Council retains the authority to make final <br />decisions. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />3 <br />
