"An Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code entitled "Zoning" by zoning <br />property owned by Paul N. Brown and Susan J. <br />Brown." Permission is being sought to place the <br />Ordinance out for publication and a public hearing <br />set for July 5, 1988. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Szymanski seconded to place <br />Ordinance #955, Series 1988 out for publication <br />and a public hearing set for July 5, 1988. Motion <br />passed 7-0. <br />TEMPORARY USE PERMIT - ST. VRAIN LANDSCAPING - <br />PUBLIC HEARING St. Vrain Landscaping is requesting a Temporary <br />Permit to allow use: of a portion of Parcel "E" in <br />Centennial Valley ~to sell landscaping materials. <br />The site would constitute 25,000-30,000 s.f. at <br />the intersection of Via Appia and McCaslin <br />Boulevard. Parcel E is zoned PCZD <br />(Retail/Office). Tonight is the public hearing to <br />consider this request. Proper notice of public <br />hearing was established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and asked <br />for staff presentation. <br />McGuire explained that Gary Marcantonio, President <br />of St. Vrain Landscaping Materials, Inc., is <br />requesting a a permit to allow temporary use of <br />Parcel E to sell landscaping materials. <br />Louisville Municipal Code 17.06.010 allows City <br />Council to issue temporary use permits for uses <br />not normally allowed in a district and for <br />permitted uses of a. temporary nature. The process <br />allows for review of plans to assure adequate <br />traffic control and movement, sanitary facilities, <br />water supply, fire protection access and clean-up <br />and removal of materials after permit expiration. <br />Staff review t:he Permit and outlined <br />recommendations including access issues and <br />utilities. <br />Planning Commission reviewed the request and <br />recommends Council approval. <br />Mayor Fauson asked for any public comments either <br />in favor of or in opposition to the Temporary Use <br />Permit. None. <br />Anderson discussed the issue of parking. McGuire <br />felt that there was adequate parking surface since <br />the entire lot must have roadbase. <br />6 <br />
