Cherrywood Subdivision, a portion of a replat <br />of the Cherrywaod Subdivision." <br />McGuire stated that the applicant, Homart <br />Development Company, is requesting approval of <br />a final plat entitled "Cherrywood Filing No. <br />2." This is a replat of Lot 7 Block 1 and <br />Tract H of Cherrywood. The purpose of the <br />replat is to combine Tract H with Lot 7. Tract <br />H was planned a.s a landscaped area along Cherry <br />Street but was inadvertently cut off from the <br />street by a privacy fence installed by Homart. <br />The replat adds, the additional 2290 s.f. of <br />land in Tract Hf to the single family lot. <br />Planning Commission reviewed and approved this <br />request. <br />Don Shonkwiler, Homart Development Director, <br />stated that this is an effort to correct a <br />mistake that wa.s made at the time the fence was <br />constructed. <br />Anderson moved and Carnival seconded to approve <br />Resolution #55, Series 1988. <br />Motion passed 6-0. <br />RESOLUTION #56, SERIES 1988 - CHERRY STREET TECHNICAL PARK - PUD AND <br />SPECIAL REVIEW USE Read in its entirety Resolution #56, Series <br />1988, "A Resolution approving an amended Final <br />Planned Unit Development Plan (PUD) and Special <br />Review Use for Cherry Street Technical Park." <br />McGuire stated that the applicant, Land <br />Development Group, Inc. is requesting approval <br />of an amended Final PUD Plan for Cherry Street <br />Technical Park I and for Cherry Street <br />Technical Park II, which plans have been <br />combined. The proposed amendment, and the <br />Special Review Use, allows a mini-storage <br />warehouse on th.e south side of the property. <br />The car wash ha.s been moved further south and a <br />retail/commercial building proposed in its <br />place. The applicant further proposes <br />temporary outdoor storage in the mini-warehouse <br />area. <br />Planning Commission reviewed this request and <br />approved the proposal with three conditions: <br />1) Phase 2 building exterior must be of the <br />same masonry/metal configuration as that <br />approved for Phase 1; 2) Outdoor storage be <br />limited to boats, R.V.'s and other operational <br />vehicles excluding light construction <br />equipment; and 3) Open storage is temporary as <br />acknowledged on the site plan.
