Mr. Streiff also detailed the scope <br />of services hip; firm would be utilizing in the <br />management and promotion of the Coal Creek Golf <br />Course. <br />Scarpella movedl and Ferrera seconded to approve <br />Recreation Services LTD to manage the Coal <br />Creek Golf Course and direct staff to negotiate <br />a contract with RSL for this service. Motion <br />passed 4-0-2 with Anderson and Sackett <br />abstaining. <br />APPROVAL OF LETTER OF INTENT BETWEEN GOLF COURSE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT <br />AND CITY OF LOUISVILLE In conjunction with the previous Agenda Item, <br />Stahl explained. that staff met with <br />Recreational Services LTD (RSL) to develop a <br />pre-opening consulting agreement between RSL <br />and the City to~ provide assistance in facility <br />design, construction, management, and <br />development of the Coal Creek Golf Course. <br />Staff is requesting Council approval of the <br />pre-opening consulting agreement and <br />authorization to prepare the Golf Course <br />Management contract within the next 45 days for <br />review by the Golf Course Advisory Committee <br />and approval by City Council. RSL will provide <br />consulting services on an as-needed basis in <br />coordination with and under the direct <br />supervision of the City Administrator, provide <br />guidance for overall facility design and <br />management, and. receive compensation based on <br />hourly rates plus reimbursable expenses not to <br />exceed $4,000 pier month. Funds have been <br />previously allocated in the Golf Course Budget. <br />Ferrera moved a,nd Scarpella seconded to approve <br />the pre-opening Golf Course Consulting <br />Agreement between RSL and the City of <br />Louisville and to authorize staff 45 days to <br />finalize the specific terms of the contract for <br />review by the Golf Course Advisory Committee <br />and approval of Council.
