By Roll Call Vote, the motion <br />was passed unanimously. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS Ann Slesar, 1611 Sunset Drive, Louisville, and a <br />member of the Commission on Human Rights, asked to <br />give Council information regarding psychiatry. <br />Ms. Slesar stated that she feels psychiatry is <br />unhealthy an opposes Boulder Psychiatry Institute <br />being built in Louisville. The Commission is <br />holding a program .in Council Chambers next Monday <br />and Ms. Slesar invited everyone to attend. <br />Paul Faris of Fari;s Machinery in Denver asked to <br />address Council regarding a street sweeper bid. <br />Faris stated that it is his understanding that <br />bids were let last month fora street sweeper and <br />Council would be awarding a bid this month. He <br />asked that Council look at the material on a <br />sweeper he proposes before making any final <br />decision. <br />OTHER: Hundley stated that Tuesday, April 14th at 4:00 <br />p.m., there will be' a meeting of the Finance <br />Committee to meet with the City's auditors to go <br />over the financial statements. Anyone is welcome <br />to come and the Finance Committee will report back <br />to Council with their recommendation. <br />Phare stated that weather permitting, the South <br />Boulder Road project will begin Monday. There <br />will be some disruption as crews move in to finish <br />widening South Bou:Lder Road from McCaslin to Wash- <br />ington. The projeci~ will take approximately 2 mos. <br />Also, water will be running into Harper Lake, <br />Phare stated, as the City attempts to top off the <br />City's reservoirs. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND Scarpella asked what the status was of the <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS facility where aerobics classes are currently <br />held. Krisko stated that after analyzing a survey <br />of participants, fE~es will be raised for aerobics <br />classes and the lease fee has been reduced by $200 <br />a month through the balance of this calendar year. <br />The combination of these two occurrences will <br />greatly reduce the deficit of this particular <br />program. Offering other classes at times when the <br />building is currently not being used is also <br />another alternative being pursued. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Fauson moved that Council recess to an <br />Executive Session •to discuss land acquisition/- <br />easement.
