05/05/87 <br />the existing treatment plant and how this all <br />interfaces with the tank." <br />Phare also stated that the construction management <br />of this operation is vital to a $2 million <br />facility. RMC's proposal was more in line with <br />the averages that you typically see as far as <br />percentages of engineering services on a tank and <br />pipeline projects KKBNA was below the average. <br />Hundley stated that both firms are excellent <br />firms. The City h.as worked with both firms, but <br />"there is a lot to be said for working with a firm <br />that has considerable knowledge in past history <br />with the City." <br />Phare stated that RMC's success ratio with the City <br />is very good. The first project he was associated <br />with was the Watex- Treatment Plant Expansion. That <br />was a tough projec;t as it was fast-tracked. They <br />also did the design system for the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant Expansion; and the current Waste- <br />water Treatment P]_ant was done by RMC. Their pro- <br />jects have either come within bid or below. <br />Szymanski moved that Council authorize staff to <br />retain Rocky Mountain Consultants for Professional <br />Engineering Services for the Treated Water Storage <br />Tank Project subject to Boulder County <br />Commission's approval of the site application. <br />Scarpella seconded. Unanimous. <br />ORDINANCE #929 - STREET SWEEPER LEASE AGREEMENT - SET <br />PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #929, <br />"An Ordinance authorizing that certain lease and <br />agreement between FMC Corporation as Lessor, and <br />the City of Louisville, Colorado, as Lessee, in <br />the aggregate principal amount of $74,234.38 and <br />in connection with purchase of a street sweeper <br />providing for lease payments, and prescribing <br />other details in connection therewith." <br />Permission is being sought to publish the <br />Ordinance and a public hearing set for June 2, <br />1987. <br />Mayor Fauson moved, that Ordinance #929 be put out <br />for publication and a public hearing set for June <br />2, 1987. Mohr seconded. Unanimous. <br />APPLICATION FOR 3.2$ PACKAGED BEER LICENSE ~- 7-11 STORE LOCATED AT <br />300 SO. McCASLIN - SET <br />PUBLIC HEARING Ferris explained thhat Southland Corporation <br />applied for a 3.2~ Packaged Beer License at the <br />new 7-11 Store at 300 So. McCaslin Blvd. in the <br />Centennial Valley Center. The application is in <br />6 <br />
