P4cCaslin Blvd. Mohr seconded. <br />Unanimous. <br />ANNEXATION REFERRAL - RICHMOND <br />PROPERTY Wanush explained ghat a letter from Lynda K. <br />Richmond, owner of a 2 acre parcel at 8330 Cherry <br />Street, wherein she is requesting annexation to <br />the City of Louisville. Ms. Richmond is <br />requesting that th.e property be zoned Commercial <br />Business (CB). Normal procedure is to forward <br />this type of request to the Planning Commission <br />for review and recommendation. <br />Mayor Fauson moveci that this request be referred <br />to the Planning Commission. Mohr seconded. <br />Unanimous. <br />BOULDER COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCR GRANT Wanush stated that. a letter has been received from <br />the Boulder County Housing Authority informing the <br />City that they have been awarded a CDBG of <br />$230,000. Some of these funds will be used for low <br />and moderate income housing rehabilitation in <br />Louisville on the basis of grant and/or direct <br />loan depending on the income of the person. As of <br />today, Wanush was unable to contact the County <br />_with regarding to timing and start-up of the <br />program, but will keep Council informed. <br />The money will be available on a first come, first <br />serve basis along with a point system. This would <br />serve approximately 25 homeowners. Should there <br />be more applicants, then the point system would go <br />into effect . <br />The application will be published in local <br />newspapers. <br />OTHER: Hundley asked Rris:ko to update Council and <br />residents on the status of the ball fields. <br />Krisko stated that the scheduled completion date <br />of the ball fields was well before scheduled games. <br />However, the material to upgrade the fields was <br />inferior and the contractor is still working to <br />resolve the problem. The field should be ready <br />for the start-up o:E the Little League season this <br />weekend. <br />7 <br />
