05/19/87 <br />Carnival concurred with the comments stated by <br />both Szymanski anti Mohr. <br />Mohr moved that Resolution #13 be tabled and a <br />Work Session be set for further discussion. <br />Carnival seconded„ <br />Mayor Fauson asked that the Work Session be held <br />on May 27th at 7:30 p.m. <br />The motion was carried. <br />RESOLUTION #14 - PUD FOR LOUISVILLE PSYCHIATRIC <br />INSTITUTE City Attorney, Curt Rautenstraus, recommended that <br />this item be tabled also until the Health Park <br />Subdivision is reconsidered by Council since <br />approval is contingent upon approval of the Health <br />Park Subdivision. <br />Although this issue is being tabled, Mr. Dave <br />Brunner asked to speak. Mr. Brunner, 4400 <br />Broadway, Boulder, stated that he opposed the <br />Psychiatric Institute and feels he was once <br />victimized by psychiatric practices. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that Resolution #14 be tabled. <br />Mohr seconded. The motion carried. <br />(Sackett rejoined the meeting.) <br />RESOLUTION #15 - SPECIAL REVIEW USE FOR MONTESSORI <br />SCHOOL (Anderson was excused from the proceedings on this <br />issue.) <br />Rautenstraus read in its entirety Resolution #15, <br />"A Resolution approving a Special Review Use for <br />Montessori Children's House." <br />Wanush explained that the applicant requests <br />approval of a day care center/pre-school for 824 <br />Pine. This use is a Special Review Use in the <br />Commercial-Community (C-C) zone. The applicant <br />designated a plan t:o operate a program for 25-30 <br />children. Based on the use, the size of the <br />rooms, and the age of children, the maximum number <br />of occupants allowed is 18. The property is in <br />the central business district and is exempt from <br />parking requirements. The plan shows three <br />parking spaces plusc a garage. The Special Review <br />Use with four conditions were approved by Planning <br />Commission May 12, 1987. The conditions are: 1) <br />the number of children and staff conform to all <br />applicable buildings and fire code requirements; 2) <br />signage and fencing be to code.
