CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />AUGUST 4, 1987 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Alan Scarpella, <br />Bob Szymanski, Mikes Mohr and John Sackett <br />Staff present: Terry Hundley, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci., Director of Financial Services <br />Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services <br />Rich Wanush, Director of Community Development <br />Also present: William Hesson, TrE~asurer <br />Absent: Pam Ferris, City C]_erk <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Agenda. <br />Hundley asked that three items be added to the <br />Regular Agenda: 1) Request for Donation by LYAA; 2) <br />Chamber Street Closure Request; 3) Set Budget Work <br />Session. Mayor Fauson moved and it was seconded to <br />added these items t:o the Agenda under 4M Other and <br />approve the the AgE,nda as amended. Unanimous. <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent <br />Calendar. None. Mayor Fauson moved and it was <br />seconded to approvE~ the Consent Calendar as <br />submitted. Unanimous. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minutes <br />Approval of Bills <br />Approval of Liquor License Renewal - Brothers Three <br />Authorization to Apply for DUI LEAF Grant - Colorado <br />Division of Highway Safety <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />APPOINTMENT TO HISTORICAL <br />COMMISSION Lillo explained that on June 10, 1987, Ivan Urnovitz <br />resigned his position as Vice-Chairman of the <br />Louisville Historical Commission due to a change in <br />job commitment. As stipulated by the Historical <br />Commission bylaws under Article II, Section I, the <br />Commission is responsible for recommending to the <br />Mayor their selection for appointment to fill this <br />vacancy. Upon the review of all letters submitted <br />by and interviews with interested applicants, the <br />Commission would like to recommend Bill Buffo for <br />1 <br />
