Planning Commission for review and recommendation.
Mohr seconded. Unanimous.
WIGGETT ANNEXATION AND
ZONING REQUEST Wanush presented the request stating that the
owners of a 2.5 acre site currently in the County
and located in the northeast corner of the Spruce
Lane area are requesting that their property be
annexed to the City and zoned R-L. Staff
recommendation is to forward this annexation and
zoning request to the Planning Commission for
their review and recommendation.
Anderson stated that the property be properly
identified in that Wiggett has not owned the
property for some time and the request is being
made by Jon Prouty and and James Leach, the owners
of the property in question.
Mayor Fauson moved that the request be forward to
the Planning Commission for review and
recommendation. Mohr seconded. Unanimous.
PROUTY, JOSEPH AND FIECHTL PROPERTIES -
ANNEXATION AND ZONING REQUEST
Wanush described the request stating that the
owners of three parcels of ground of approximately
22.5 acres currently located in the County and
located in south and western portions of the
Spruce Lane are requesting that their property
be annexed to the City and zoned R-R. A vicinity
map was given to Council and a conceptual plan for
the entire Spruce bane area. Wanush stated that
if approved, all future annexations in this area
would have to comply with the conceptual plan
submitted.
Wanush stated that the Joseph property annexation
has already had several hearings before the
Planning Commissior.~. The Commission requested
that the property owners in the area devise a plan
for the entire area rather than one parcel since
the area is unique and developing only one parcel
could adversely affect the whole Spruce Lane area.
As a result of several meetings, conceptual plan
was developed. The original request to annex only
the Joseph parcel has also been amended to include
the Prouty and Fiechtl parcels.
Mayor Fauson moved that the Prouty, Joseph,
Fiechtl Annexation ,and Zoning Request be referred
to the Planning Commission for their review and
annexation. Mohr seconded. Unanimous.
5
